Reuters - With his slight physique and lack of conventional good looks, David Hyde Pierce might not be a likely leading man or dramatic linchpin. But once he makes his first appearance in "Curtains," one of the last collaborations of John Kander and the late Fred Ebb (the folks who brought you a raft of musicals including "Cabaret" and "Chicago"), he pretty much carries the show.
